Unlike many manufactures, we have always stayed true to our roots. We are grateful for every barrel order, and we recognize the importance of your satisfaction. We made this page for you, so that you can understand the reason for barrel wait times.
Remember, you can go anywhere and purchase a barrel, but at Black Hole we have a small team of experts, and each one of them is busy making your dream barrel. As the reputation of our barrels has grown, we now produce barrels in mass quantities, and we make them with just as much care as the custom individual barrels.

When your order comes in, via the website, e-mail, or phone order, we put it into our product que. WEBSITE, TEXT MESSAGE AND E-MAIL are the preferred method of correspondence for us. Your order is important to us, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We process LARGE QUANTITY ORDERS, and SMALLER CUSTOM ORDERS together. Once we process the order, we send it to the production team.

LARGE QUANTITY ORDERS are usually produced by monthly volume and by contract. This means a single programing configuration, and usually hundreds of barrels are made in a batch.
As large batch orders are completed, we do our best to insert custom orders into the process. The reason for this is because the machines require individual programing for each barrel type. This can take hours to perfect. So, we attempt to produce barrels of like kinds at the same time. Anything that is "custom" takes longer and that is because we must create a new program.
To add complication,
Bolt Action pre-fits are never technically "PRE-FIT". We have found deviations in the fit of standard bolt actions, and sometimes to get a perfect fit, we will require your action and bolt to configure. Safety, and performance is everything. Moving forward, Until further notice BHW will no longer be offering Bolt Action Pre-Fit barrels as an option, due to our strict quality guidelines, and the time it takes to complete them. We will continue to offer precision Bolt Action Blanks. These can be fitted by your expert gunsmith to ensure proper fit and safety while still providing everything you expect from a BLACK HOLE WEAPONRY barrel.

Imagine a barrel makes it to a “Drill, and Dimple" and we notice flaw or imperfections. This means we start the barrel over from the beginning. A new barrel must be constructed. We make your barrel without compromise it must meet our strict quality standards or it is scrapped and starts over.

SHIPPING COST IS BASED ON WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS
We ship our barrels with FedEx ground. If you would like to have your package delivered faster, please contact us and we are happy to let you know the additional cost. All shipping charges are based off your delivery ZIP code, box dimensions and weight.
HANDLING CHARGE $10.50
This covers labor and supply cost. We will always do our best to make sure shipping and handling charges are reasonable. Rather than raise the price of our barrels, we want to be as transparent as possible with our customers. With BLACK HOLE WEAPONRY, you know exactly what you are purchasing!
